Carpet for Stairs
I had never heard of any sort of interchangeable carpet for stairs until my niece’s wedding. They booked a gorgeous bed and breakfast for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony would take place in the foyer and the reception would be in an adjoining reception hall. This particular bed and breakfast was designed with weddings and other large gatherings in mind. I was involved with helping to plan the wedding so I went with my sister and niece to preview the location. The foyer was exceptionally beautiful with a sweeping staircase for the bride to make her entrance on. The stairs were covered with a bright red carpet but when my niece mentioned it they assured her they would change it to white for her ceremony. Apparently they have several carpets for the stairs and they are simply held in place with stair rods which allows them to be changed to suit the occasion.

Your dining room is perhaps one of the most important rooms for entertaining guests. It says a lot about you, especially your dining table set. If your dining table set has a classical look, pick a color and design for your dining room wall that would match it. It will be weird or awkward if you have a modern and bright colored dining table set placed in a classical looking room. If your motif is modern, stick with it, the walls and your dining table set should match. If your motif is classical, you should stick with that, too. Everything should match, but not necessarily the kind of matching where your table is purple, the chairs are purple, the walls and the curtains are also purple. Never exaggerate or over design it. It should be balanced. An example is a brown cabinet next to the bright wall and a brown table. So, that’s how it goes.
